The Denver scene is blowing up. I'd recommend a little band called Woodsman, who's gaining some real notoriety nationally. They just released the "Mystery Tape EP" which I've been rocking out to a lot lately. Only for those who like something a bit more experimental as it's pretty heavy on the post-rock side but very good. You can catch them this Sunday at the Hi-Dive for the UMS.
